Joining IHP will help to prepare your practice for future models of care delivery as payers begin to shift from fee-for-service to value-based care models. What’s more, membership in IHP will all your practice to participate in shared savings programs as well as receive improved rates from participating payers. Exclusive managed care contracting agreements include Aetna, AmeriHealth, Cigna, Horizon, Qualcare, United HealthCare, and Oxford.

 

Clinical Decision Support

IHP provides access to clinical decision support and automated data submission to Inspira Health Network for detailed quality and outcome data for member practices through a Population Health platform that includes registries, dashboards, and care management solutions. Resources are available to assist practices with managing Meaningful Use compliance as well as Medicare Shared Savings Program compliance.
The ability to share digital medical information is key to the mission of IHP to improve quality while reducing cost. An electronic health record is required to participate in IHP, however if your practice does not currently have an EHR, IHP is able to offer special pricing for the Cerner Ambulatory EHR.

 

Practice Management Support

As part of your membership, IHP serves as a practice management information resource for a variety of topics including Meaningful Use Stages 2 and 3, the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA), and the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).
IHP practices have the option to do their billing themselves or to contract with IHP to bill insurers and patients on their behalf. These services are offered by IHP at the lowest possible pricing.
