Financial Benefits
Joining IHP will help prepare your practice for future care delivery models as payers begin to shift from fee-for-service to value-based care models. Membership with IHP will allow your practice to participate in shared savings programs and receive improved rates from participating payers. Managed care contracting agreements are offered with Aetna, AmeriHealth, Cigna, Horizon, Humana and QualCare on a voluntary basis.
Clinical Decision Support
IHP provides access to clinical decision support and automated data submission to Inspira Health for detailed quality and outcome data for member practices through HealtheRegistries—a population health platform that includes registries, dashboards and care management solutions. Resources are available to assist practices with managing compliance with Promoting Interoperability requirements through the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA).
The ability to share digital medical information is key to the mission of IHP to improve quality while reducing cost. An electronic health record is required to participate in IHP.
